Sam your night was a amazing. We figured 300+ people. But to our heartfelt amazement it came closer to 600-700 people! Such a great time and lots of tears and memories were shared. We had your cars there and you would of been so proud of them. We miss you Sam!!
Sambo you'da been proud! It was so well organized. I was standing near the keg with my beer in hand waiting for you to come around the corner and say "Come on Ethel, lets go, I'll kick your ass this time!!" challenging me to a guzzle contest AGAIN only to have me kick YOUR ass! =-D Then you'd always say with beer dripping off your chin "God Dammit Ethel, one of these days, I'll get ya!" with that ear to ear grin.... Makes me cry just typing this. I miss you SO much. Please if you havent already, give Jay a hug so big for me that you lift him off the ground. I will be seeing both of you soon! Have a couple glasses of beer waiting for me, maybe I'll let you beat me!
BTW for those that don't know how I got my nickname Ethel from Sambo back in 1975. "cuz she guzzles beer like Ethel gasonline" lmao... RIP Sambo, Ethel loves you!
